Registration opens for 46th International Film Festival of India 2015

With focus on promoting Indian cinema at global horizons, International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has emerged as one of the biggest film festivals of Asia. Registrations have opened for both the delegates wishing to attend the festival and the media who intend to cover in Goa. This year’s edition is scheduled to begin from 20th November with a spectacular opening ceremony at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa.The 10 days extravaganza will showcase the best of Indian and world cinema in different sections like Indian Panorama, international section, Indian and foreign retrospectives, tributes and special focus. In addition to this, film students, film lovers will also have opportunities to interact with the best directors, producers and technicians’ of Indian and the world cinema at workshops and master classes focused on different aspects of film making.The last date for delegation registration is November 5, 2015 while for media accreditation the online portal will remain open until 10th November 2015.

By logging on to IFFI website at, the applicants can access the online media and delegate registration form. The delegate badge will be provided to the applicants only after the presentation of the receipt of payment. Student Delegates must carry their college ID card for verification at the time of collection of kit and delegate cards.

The media accreditation is granted to experienced journalists/media persons above 21 years of age who have been covering major international film festivals like IFFI for at least three years by logging on to PIB’s website For media persons who apply between 1st October and 31st October, the cards will be ready for distribution from 16th November 2015. The rest of the applicants will receive their cards after 20th November 2015.
