Anjali Menon shot to fame with her segment ‘Happy Jouney’ in the anthology film Kerala Cafe (2009). That was followed up with her full fledged cinematic debut as filmmaker and writer with Manjadikuru (2012), a Malayalam film that was widely respected in the film festival circuit before getting a theatrical release. The very same year she won laurels with her screenplay for Anwar Rasheed‘s Ustad Hotel for which she even won the National Award. Anjali is now ready with her next film, Bangalore Days which is one of the most awaited Malayalam films in recent times. Produced by Anwar Rasheed, the film boasts of an impressive ensemble cast comprising of Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Faasil, Isha Talwar, Nithya Menon, Parvathi Menon, Vijayaraghavan, Kalpana, Praveena,Manianpilla Raju etc. The music is by Gopi Sunder while Sameer Thahir is the DOP and Praveen Prabhakar is the editor.
Bangalore Days talks about 3 cousins who move over to Bangalore from Kerala and what happens from thereon. The film is expected for a release later this month (May). Here is the promising trailer of the film.
