PVR Director’s Rare to release Surkhaab in India on May 22

The movie that has traveled several continents, winning praises at various international fests, is all set to see the light of day in India. The drama thriller ‘Surkhaab’ is an intriguing journey of a woman who gets swamped with unexpected events, when she illegally migrates to Canada to be with her younger brother. The movie will have a limited release on May 22, 2015 in Delhi,  Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Amritsar under PVR Director’s Rare. Directed by Sanjay Talreja, ‘Surkhaab’ stars the talented actress Barkha Madan in the lead role of a strong woman named Jeet. It also stars Sumit Suri, Vinita Malik and Naresh Gosain in supporting roles. Surkhaab was screened at some of the best international film festivals such as the Madrid International Film Festival and Commfest Festival in Toronto to name a couple and is the winner of the prestigious award for the Best Foreign Language Film at the London International Film Festival  2013.
